Warm summer evenings, three little ones running wild, and a beautiful scene to run wild in. I met up with Mary, Corbett, and their three little ones at Whitecliff Park in Crestwood, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis, for an evening family session. The warm summer air and natural landscape around the quarry made the perfect backdrop for their family photos. When you arrive at the park it's a nice little walk through the tree canopies before it opens up to a beautiful little area where the kids could roam free.

I first set them up with a blanket to sit on and just play and be themselves, too easy.

My style isn't marked by stiff poses, it's by capturing the moment just as it is.

This is what I love about St. Louis family photography, the good stuff is in the connection, the belly laughs, and the way your kids naturally love on you.

This season is sacred and I'm so grateful I got to capture it!
