The warm light, the tall grass, and a little extra time to slow down and just be together... it's summertime in St. Louis. I met up with Bethany, James, and their son and soon-to-be big brother Julian for an evening family session in a golden-filled meadow, and it was the perfect setting for this season of their family.
We spent our time together wandering around the tall grassy fields, laughing and watching Julian explore and soak up this special time with mom and dad before they become a family of four.
This is what I love about family photography in St. Louis. Your family doesn't need to sit perfectly still or smile at the camera the whole time. Give me the wildflowers, the movement, the giggles, and the real connection.
Those are the moments worth remembering.
